    Fedora 10 has no XEN! Virtmanager uses KVM.

    @Tom

    Virt-Manager can manage Xen VMs:

    "My attention turns from issues with the distribution, and more towards issues with the Fedora team’s poor communication"

    Such generalization is almost always missing the beat. I have send many mails to you folks adding more information and clarifying certain details and while it might not have been the best, I don't think it was poor communication either. If you do have issues, feel free to bring this topic in the fedora-marketing list where it can be a bilateral discussion instead of a blog post.

    @ Rahul

    Please don't start that discussion here. You can read Bryan's post on his blog to see what he/we are referring too. It goes far beyond the email updates you have sent us.

    You're email updates have been very helpful, and are not what the post is about.

    My point is simply that, Fedora team's communication would include mine as well. I don't want a discussion here anyway. If there is a real concern, it is better expressed in the mailing list where the entire team can discuss the topic. Thanks for the feedback.

    I was wondering how Fedora 10 stacks up against Ubuntu 8.10. I have been using Ubuntu for about a year now. Is it any better or worse than Ubuntu, just curious.

    Yes, flash, fancy, but impractical. This problem has started ever since Redhat 7. I'm really disappointed that this problem hasn't gone away. The Redhat team should be ashamed. I had two crippling problems with my latest Mar-May installs: (1) hang on install on Dell dimension 2350, most likely due to intel video chipset or something stupid like that, and (2) the stupid install program would not eject cd 1 so i could insert the rest of the cd's. Both problems are known about. But how goddamn stupid. You know, from the beginning of linux, we new that the older the machine, the better chance it would fare with installing linux on it since it allows a lot of time for driver development/contribution. The computer I just had problems with is a 5 to 8 year old Dell, with 2.1 GHz chip and only CD drives. And this does not work with the current Fedora 10 that everyone praises about and pats themselves on the back about. Nice job. From this point on, I've written off Fedora entirely and will never again waste countless hours on hoping for a miracle. I am hoping freebsd will be able to save me.
